The Antidote for Peace on Earth

Christmas came and went like most holidays in Singapore. Year after year, holiday after holiday, we emerge the following day as if everything that happened the day before is like a dream.

And while churches all over the world sang carols and praying for peace on earth, there is little done except to rely on shoody politicians to make it happen - as if that's really their problem to begin with.

So are we doomed? Maybe not, if we can do what this picture wants us to do:

On the micro level, we want peace in the form of certainty and stability. We crave for assurance and the promise that things will be better. Ironically, we choose to attain that by voicing our displeasure, or contempt in the most aggressive fashion.

2012 is fast approaching so regardless of whether the world will really end on that prophesied date will very much depends on the indivdual especially that of the politicians, military officers, and those in power.

So peer into the dark sky this new year eve and reflect on your life while you gaze upon the stars and the moon, because if the Mayans are right, there wont be another chance to do that again - next year end.
